On 1st June 2019, Government Legislation states that no agent/landlord can charge a fee from a tenant in relation to creating or ending a tenancy, so there will be no application or administration fees on this tenancy. However, a holding deposit- the equivalent of one week’s rent is taken to hold the property whilst we complete relevant checks. This will be used towards your deposit once the tenancy commences.

We will provide you with a Tenancy Application form which must be filled out in full by each prospective tenant. Please make sure you fill out the application form in full and in block capitals, as missing or incorrect information may cause delays.

The holding deposit fee will not be refunded if you decide not to continue with your application or if your reference/ credit checks prove to be unsatisfactory because of being provided with misleading information. However, if the Landlord withdraws the property from the market, your holding deposit fee will be refunded in full.

The holding deposit fee does not reserve the right for a tenancy agreement for any property.

Client Money Protection Scheme

From 1 April 2019, all lettings and management firms handling clients’ money must be part of a Government approved Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme. As part of our membership with Propertymark we are automatically enrolled onto the Propertymark CMP scheme (scheme number C0002696). Please visit the Propertymark website for more information.
